We Endure
This Is Us

- Where have you seen the difference between hardness and toughness in your life?
- What’s something unique to you or your life experience that makes taking the hits life throws at you challenging to absorb?
- Out of the four qualities of being tough (Being real, Being rooted, Being a risk-taker, Being after a specific reward), which do you see the most of in yourself? Which do you see the least of? Why?
- Read James 1:2-4. Name an area of your life where you see a need for endurance. What would it mean for you to embrace that challenge?
Prayer
Let’s end with prayer. You can say something like, “Jesus, thank you for showing us what real endurance looks like. Give us the courage to choose toughness over comfort. To reject the false safety of comfort. Help us rely on your strength for our protection. We’re fixing our eyes on you. Amen.”

Check these out if you’re on a roll and want to go a little deeper.
- Describe a time where you chose to be hard and brittle in the face of a challenging situation. What were the effects and/or results of that choice?

New around here? We'd love to connect
WE ENDURE through any struggle we face. Jesus overcame the world so when things are hard, we push through. When we get knocked down, we get back up again.
