- How often (if at all) do you think about dying? What do you feel when you think about it?
- How did hearing stories of near death experiences change or expand your ideas about an afterlife?
- What did the various descriptions of Heaven tell you about God’s character?
- What does the priority God places on relationships in Heaven tell us about our purpose on earth?
- What’s one step you can take this week to create a little Heaven on earth in your life this week? Share your plan with the group.
Prayer
Let’s end with prayer. You can say something like, “Jesus, thank you for creating a place for us to go after this life. Thank you for loving us and wanting a relationship with us for eternity. Help us reflect that love to the people around in our time on earth. Amen.”
